Here's what you need to know:

• Your Videos, Your Stories: You own your pet videos. We just add our AI magic to make them tell hilarious stories in one of six unique confession styles, plus suggest awesome pet products!
• Our Secret Recipe: We've built some seriously cool AI that turns pet videos into personalized, story-driven content based on your pet's actual behavior. That's our special sauce, and we'd appreciate you not trying to copy it.
• Free to Use: Pet Tales AI is completely free! We keep it that way through smart partnerships, product recommendations, and by learning from how people use the app (anonymously).
• Keep It Pawsome: Only upload videos of pets being awesome. No humans as the main star, nothing mean or illegal.
• Have Fun: That's literally the point. If our AI says your cat is plotting world domination in "Therapy Session Notes" style, embrace it! 😸

1. WHO WE ARE & BASIC GROUND RULES

Pet Tales AI is run by Financial Planner AI, LLC (yeah, we know, different name - we started with a different focus and expanded into pets because, honestly, pets are more fun). We're located in Freehold, NJ, and we built this app because pet videos deserve better than "aww, cute!" - they deserve personalized, story-driven confessions.

The Deal: By using Pet Tales AI, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't vibe with them, we get it - not every app is for everyone.

Age Thing: You need to be 18+ to use this. Sorry, kids - get your parents to make the account!

Our Trademarks: Pet Tales AI™ and related marks are pending trademarks of Financial Planner AI, LLC. Please don't use them without permission.

2. HOW THE APP WORKS

Your Dashboard: Create an account, upload short pet videos (under 40 seconds), and watch our AI work its magic to create hilarious Pet Tales and suggest relevant pet products.

Pet Profiles: Create detailed profiles for each of your pets including their names, breeds, ages, personality traits, and photos. This helps our AI understand your pet's unique character and create more personalized Pet Tales and spot-on product recommendations. You can manage multiple pets in one account and update their profiles anytime.

Six Pet Tale Confession Styles: Choose from six unique "confession" formats to shape your pet's story:

• "My Human Thinks I..." - Reveals what pets are really doing
• "Things I Don't Understand" - Pet confusion about human behavior
• "Today I Realized..." - Pet discoveries and epiphanies
• "Unpopular Opinion" - Bold pet opinions on everything
• "I Need to Report..." - Tattling on family members
• "Therapy Session Notes" - Working through pet emotions

Community Sharing: Share your Pet Tales with the world through our community page, or keep them private - totally your choice.

Account Management: You can delete individual Pet Tales or entire pet profiles anytime. We can't delete your whole account (technical reasons), but you can remove all your content and essentially have a blank slate.

3. YOUR VIDEOS & OUR AI MAGIC

What You Keep vs. What We Do

You Keep: Full ownership of your pet videos. They're yours, always.

What We Get: Permission to use your videos for these specific things:

• Creating AI-generated Pet Tale voice-overs for you
• Analyzing pet behavior to suggest relevant products
• Improving our AI (so it gets better at understanding when Mr. Fluffkins is actually judging you)
• Storing and backing up your content
• Learning from usage patterns (anonymously) to improve the app
• Training our story generation and recommendation algorithms

Pet Profile Information: We use the details from your pet profiles (names, breeds, personality traits, photos) combined with video analysis to create more accurate and personalized Pet Tales. This information also helps us suggest products that actually match your specific pet's needs and behavior patterns.

What We DON'T Get: We can't use your videos for random marketing, sell them to others, or do anything weird with them.

The AI Pet Tales & Product Recommendations We Create

Our AI creates those hilarious diary-style voice-over stories and smart product suggestions you see. Here's the deal:

You Can Use Your Pet Tales: Once we create your Pet Tale, you can use it anywhere - post it on social media, show friends, whatever makes you happy.

Product Recommendations Are Suggestions: Our AI suggests products based on your pet's behavior in the video, but these are just suggestions, not professional advice. You make the final call on what's right for your pet.

But Don't Steal Our Methods: The Pet Tales and recommendation system are yours to enjoy, but please don't try to reverse-engineer how we make them or build a competing app. That's our secret sauce!

Content Rules (Keep It Fun & Legal)

Your videos should be:

• ✅ Starring your pets (not humans as the main focus)
• ✅ Fun, cute, or hilarious
• ✅ Something you actually own or have permission to share
• ❌ Not illegal, mean, or inappropriate
• ❌ Not violating anyone else's copyrights

4. PROTECTING OUR SECRET SAUCE (THIS IS IMPORTANT)

Here's the Real Talk: We've spent significant time, energy, and resources building the systems that make Pet Tales special. While we use third-party AI services for content generation, our proprietary workflows, prompt engineering, behavioral analysis methods, confession-style formats, product recommendation logic, and the specific way we orchestrate everything together are our proprietary trade secrets and intellectual property.

What This Means:

• Don't try to reverse-engineer our proprietary workflows or systems
• Don't attempt to copy our prompt engineering methods or confession formats
• Don't replicate our behavioral analysis approaches or product recommendation logic
• Don't use insights from our app to build a competing service
• Don't scrape our data or try to access our systems in unauthorized ways
• Don't create derivative works based on our proprietary methods
• Don't use our app for competitive intelligence purposes

Our Protected Systems Include:

• Proprietary workflows that orchestrate the Pet Tale creation process
• Prompt engineering techniques and methodologies for personalized content
• Behavioral analysis approaches that understand pet actions and translate them into stories
• Confession-style formats and the logic behind each narrative style
• Product recommendation engines and matching algorithms
• User interface design and user experience flows
• Video analysis and interpretation methodologies
• Content curation and quality control processes

Why We Care: We're a small team that built something innovative. Protecting our intellectual property lets us keep making Pet Tales better for everyone and maintain our competitive edge.

Consequences: If you violate these protections, we'll immediately terminate your account and may pursue legal action, including seeking injunctive relief and damages.

5. OUR BUSINESS MODEL & YOUR DATA

How We Keep It Free

Pet Tales AI is completely free to use because we have a smart business model. Here's exactly how it works:

Revenue Streams:

1. Affiliate Commissions: When you buy products we recommend, we earn a small commission from the retailer (not you)
2. Strategic Partnerships: We partner with pet-related companies and services
3. Anonymized Data Insights: We learn from usage patterns and sell anonymized insights to pet industry companies

• Delete your content anytime
• Control whether your Pet Tales appear in the community section

6. WHAT WE OWN & WHAT YOU CAN'T DO

Our Stuff: The Pet Tales AI app, website, algorithms, confession-style generation systems, product recommendation engines, logos, and all the technology behind it belongs to us. The name "Pet Tales AI" is our pending trademark.

Your Limits:

• Don't copy our app or try to build your own version
• Don't scrape our content or use bots on our platform
• Don't try to hack, reverse-engineer, or break our systems
• Don't remove our logos or pretend you made this
• Don't use our app for commercial purposes without written permission
• Don't attempt to access or use our proprietary algorithms outside the app
• Don't train competing AI systems using our outputs or methods

7. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Be Cool: When sharing Pet Tales publicly in our community section, remember real humans will see them. Be kind, respectful, and fun.

Keep It Pet-Focused: Our community is about pets and their hilarious confessions. Don't use it to advertise your business or send promotional stuff (unless we've given you specific permission).

Authentic Content: Only share genuine pet videos that you own or have permission to use.

Report Problems: If someone's being inappropriate or violating these guidelines, let us know at rpc@financialplanner-ai.com.

8. COPYRIGHT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

DMCA Compliance: If someone thinks you've used their copyrighted video, we'll handle it according to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If you think someone used your content inappropriately, contact our designated agent.

Copyright Agent:

Repeat Offenders: If you repeatedly upload content that isn't yours, we'll permanently ban your account.

Our IP Rights: All aspects of the Pet Tales AI service, including but not limited to our algorithms, user interface, confession-style formats, and branding, are protected by copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

9. WHEN THINGS GO WRONG (LEGAL PROTECTION)

AI Isn't Perfect: Sometimes our AI might generate weird stories or misinterpret what your pet was doing. That's just how AI works - don't blame us if it says your hamster is having an existential crisis in "Therapy Session Notes" mode.

Product Recommendations Disclaimer: Our product suggestions are based on AI analysis of pet behavior in videos, not professional veterinary advice. Always consult your vet for health-related decisions.

No Guarantees: We provide Pet Tales AI "as is." We try our best to keep everything running smoothly, but we can't promise it'll work perfectly 100% of the time.

Limited Liability: If something goes wrong and it's somehow our fault, our total legal responsibility is limited to $100 or the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months (whichever is greater). Since the app is free, that's $100.

You've Got Our Back: If you upload something that gets us in legal trouble, you agree to help us deal with it and cover any resulting costs. This is called "indemnification" in lawyer-speak.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Let's Talk First: If you have a problem, email us at rpc@financialplanner-ai.com. We're reasonable people and will try to work things out directly.

Arbitration: If we can't resolve disputes through direct communication, we'll use binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association in Monmouth County, New Jersey, rather than going to court.

No Class Actions: We each agree to handle disputes individually, not as part of a group lawsuit or class action.

Opt-Out Option: Don't want arbitration? Email us within 30 days of accepting these terms to opt out. You'll still have to resolve disputes individually, but you can use the court system.

Exception for IP Violations: We can seek immediate court orders (injunctive relief) if someone violates our intellectual property rights.

11. THE BORING BUT NECESSARY LEGAL STUFF

Changes to Terms: We might update these terms occasionally as we add new confession styles or features. We'll give you 30 days notice for significant changes via email or in-app notification.

Termination: We can terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in harmful behavior. When accounts are terminated, we'll delete the associated content according to our data retention policy.

Governing Law: These terms are governed by New Jersey law, and any legal proceedings will take place in New Jersey courts (unless we're in arbitration).

Severability: If one part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

Entire Agreement: These terms, along with our Privacy Policy, represent our complete agreement. They supersede any previous agreements.
